The Golden Retriever Club of Canada Approved Mentor/Tutor Program

The goal of the GRCC approved mentor and tutor program is to establish a resource of Golden Retriever breeder-judges and long-standing, knowledgeable Golden breeders that are willing to share their expertise with new fanciers and new judges of the breed. Some of these individuals may be willing to have kennel visits, meet at dog shows for ringside mentoring, do presentations or offer advice and information via telephone or email contact.

We request that anyone interested in applying for consideration as a mentor or tutor complete the application form which can be found in this section of the website. The application process gives the Committee a basic overview of the experience and qualifications of any prospective candidates. Applicants should ideally be GRCC members and have a minimum of 15 years experience in exhibiting and breeding Golden Retrievers.
